At TutorsME, we combine the benefits of modern technology with high-quality online teaching to deliver effective and affordable tutoring. Because our sessions are fully online, without the expense of physical classrooms, we can pass these savings directly on to families.
Our English and Mathematics courses are offered at a standard rate of 150 AED per session. With two sessions per week, the total cost is just 300 AED. In comparison, many traditional ‘at-home’ tutors may charge more than this for a single weekly session. We are proud to offer twice the learning at the same, or even lower, cost.
For homeschooling support, packages are tailored to each family’s needs. For instance, daily lessons in Mathematics or English (five sessions per week) can start from as little as 125 AED per session. Final pricing is always agreed after a discussion between the tutor and family to ensure full transparency and clarity.
Our flexible, cost-effective plans ensure that children who would benefit most from tutoring can access it, without families feeling limited by cost. Our mission is to provide financially accessible, high-quality, professional support that helps every learner succeed.
It is often found that parents may only recognise that their child will benefit from tutoring at the later stages of schooling due to final exams looming and an awareness that their child may not be quite prepared enough for them. However, research consistently identifies that if a student displays areas of struggle or levels of attainment that are below their age-related expectations in lower years of education, it can become increasingly difficult for them to catch up to their peers or excel in certain areas in later schooling. This is because, if a student is already trying to catch-up to their peers, as well as apply knowledge and understanding that they should already have, but do not, into new areas of learning, they are much likelier to find this difficult and find themselves in a repeating cycle. This therefore identifies the need to catch such areas early on so that they do not continue to impact the student's progress
The negative effects of low attainment at the earlier phases of education not only impact student scores and test results, but can have a lasting impact on a child's self-confidence, positive attitude towards education and potentially develop aspects of 'educational anxiety'. As a tutoring service that is proudly research-based, TutorsME focusses on the Primary age ranges of education to provide personalised guidance from experienced tutors for each student. It is our aim to ensure all students that follow our English or Mathematics programmes are given the tools necessary to not only achieve age-related expectations, but excel.

Digital literacy refers to the ability to effectively use digital devices, communication tools and online networks to access, understand and create information. It involves both technical skills, such as operating software and navigating the internet, and cognitive skills, including understanding how digital information is produced and consumed. In essence, digital literacy is the capacity to engage confidently and critically with digital technologies across all areas of life.
At its core, digital literacy goes beyond simply using technology; it is about understanding its impact and applying it responsibly and effectively.
The book-based approach to learning English, particularly for primary education, utilises high-quality literature as the core resource for teaching language and literacy skills. It emphasises immersing students in whole books, rather than relying solely on isolated exercises or textbooks, which fosters a love of reading and enhances various language skills.
As part of the TutorsME English programme, each session identifies specific pieces of writing from the reading material covered as a stimulus to approach the age-related grammar, punctuation, spelling and comprehension objectives suitable for each student.
Reading Aloud
Students are expected to read a certain amount of text per week as home-learning prior to online sessions. Not only does this ensure students are reading and doing so with the high-quality materials assigned, but with their tutor's using specific tools, the identification of strengths and weaknesses with voice intonation, pace and word recognition and are monitored.
Vocabulary Development
Exposure to rich vocabulary within the context of the story helps students expand word knowledge and word recognition. Furthermore, with the use of home assistants (Amazon Alexa etc...) specific vocabulary is identified for both clarity of understanding and as a catalyst for 'up-levelling' them through the use of an AI thesaurus.
Punctuation and Grammar
By reading complete books, students learn grammar and punctuation rules naturally, rather than through isolated exercises. However, by using particular paragraphs and sentences from the book, examples are highlighted to both showcase effective 'well-written' pieces and provide context for their own learning. Additionally, students can analyse the word choices an author has made, as well as identify features of punctuation and grammar.
Text Analysis
Students analyse the text, identifying literary devices, exploring themes and discuss character development to improve comprehension abilities. Through the small online group sessions, students are more involved in discussions and able to more easily give their views as well as respond ot the ideas of others.
At TutorsME, we respect the different areas of mathematics while also emphasising how they connect to one another. Guided by age-appropriate objectives, our sessions use interactive online activities that take students from building knowledge to demonstrating understanding and finally to embedding learning through engaging tasks. Progress is carefully monitored in each session, while still encouraging independence and self-confidence. Real-life examples, introduced at varying levels of complexity, help bridge the gap between abstract concepts and practical application: an approach supported by educational research. This method fosters a deeper grasp of mathematical principles, strengthens problem-solving skills and boosts motivation by showing students the real-world relevance of mathematics.
Home-learning tasks compliment the areas of study covered in each session to both review prior knowledge and develop new areas of learning. The information gained by reviewing these tasks allows tutors to identify areas of strength and those requiring intervention. Furthermore, by providing constant review of certain key areas of mathematics, such as essential formal written methods and mental acuity with the four operators, these additional activities ensure that all mathematical areas of study are given a solid foundation on which to build.
As more families choose to home-school their children, it is important to value the dedication of parents and carers while also recognising the benefits that professional educational expertise can provide. Tutoring can greatly enrich the homeschooling experience by offering personalised attention, specialised support and instruction tailored to complement the parent-led curriculum. Tutors help bridge learning gaps, provide focused exam preparation and build student confidence, all while adapting to each learner’s unique style and pace.
Homeschooling provides flexibility, allowing tutoring to be incorporated as needed, whether regularly or for specific subjects. In addition to academic support, tutors can help students build key skills such as study habits, time management and problem-solving. With guidance and encouragement, tutors empower learners to gain confidence in their abilities and approach academic challenges more effectively.
TutorsME utilises Google Classroom, along with its variety of applications. as the main platform for information sharing. Online sessions use Google Meets and the activities set use a variety of teaching approaches, both physical and online, to ensure students are provided with the most effective activities to ensure progress.
Using their home device and Google email address, students are assigned to age-related online classrooms for the sharing of all relevant information. For online sessions, necessary learning materials and web-links are shared before hand and expectations of student independence for session readiness are clearly outlined.
With the course requirements of additional home-learning outside of the online sessions, all tasks are explained and relevant materials are provided in advance on the student's Google Classroom. Additionally, this allows for parental inclusion throughout sessions and promotes positive parent-child relationships with regards to learning discussions. Furthermore, all course materials are available after each session for review if necessary.
With digital devices playing such a large role in daily life, it’s natural for parents to be concerned about screen time and its impact on children. At TutorsME, we take these concerns seriously and have built safeguards into our sessions to minimise any negative effects of online learning.
Firstly, the tutoring sessions we provide are not simply an online call, where students spend their time looking at the screen for its entirety. The quality of screen content, and how it is used, is central to our teaching approach. We focus on balance, ensuring that technology is a tool for learning rather than a necessity. To support this, our sessions include carefully designed strategies that limit unnecessary screen use and keep students actively engaged.
A key feature of our approach is the use of activity ‘Nooks’ (short for No Look), where students step away from the screen to complete tasks. These activities may involve closing their eyes, standing up, moving around, or working off-screen; ensuring that screen breaks remain purposeful and connected to learning rather than just passive downtime.
Regular questioning and discussions also reduce the need for constant screen focus, encouraging students to look away from their device when appropriate. At TutorsME, we place strong emphasis on guided practice, where students complete certain tasks with independence using physical materials as well as digital tools. This blended approach ensures that learning is effective, engaging, and mindful of the impact of screen time.
All of our programmes are designed to encourage student independence and minimise the need for parental involvement. However, there may be times when some support is required. To make things easier, every new family receives an initial onboarding session, which walks through the basics, such as logging in, using Google Classroom and helping students feel confident to participate on their own.
Since each session requires certain tasks to be completed in advance, parents may occasionally need to print materials and provide light oversight to ensure these are ready.
In partnership with families, we welcome parents to contact us regarding their child's performance or general enquiries about the content that is covered. We actively encourage parents to talk with their children about what they are learning, whether that is right after a session or during the week as they complete their home learning. Even simple conversations make a big difference, boosting students’ motivation and helping them feel more positive about their sessions. In addition, our termly reports are designed to be shared and discussed together, giving parents the chance to celebrate successes and recognise their child’s hard work.
