2 Privacy

• All personal information provided is used in accordance with our Privacy Policy. No information will ever be shared without your prior consent.

3 Service Provided

• Tutors Middle East (TutorsME) is an online tutoring service for children aged 7 - 12 (years 3 - 7 in British Curriculum schools).

• We providing online group sessions, predominantly for the learning of English and Mathematics skills in accordance with the British Curriculum.

• All tutors hold qualifications to teach as required and provided by the UK government for teaching in primary schools. 

• All tutors have passed advanced security clearances as expected by governments of the UK and UAE. 

4 Enrolment

• All students must complete a preliminary online video call assessment with a nominated member of the TutorsME staff.

• Prior to enrolment, approval must be given by the assessing tutor with regard to students meeting requirements for and access to the services provided above.

• Enrolment is dependent upon spaces available and students may be placed on a waiting list.

5 Course and Session Requirements

• A secure and stable internet connection.

• A device with a working microphone and camera.

• A notebook, pencil case and necessary subject specific tools (calculator for Mathematics, specified book for English).

• For English courses, parents are required to buy the identified book for each term's focus.

• Apps, as described in the Home Agreement document are to be dowloaded onto personal devices.

• Students require a personal Gmail account and to have joined the Google Classroom assigned by their tutor.

• Students are to login to their scheduled session 5 minutes prior to it starting.

• A home assistant (Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant, Apple Siri) to be accessible during sessions.

6 Student and Parent responsibility

• Upon enrolment, both parents and students are expected to have signed and returned the Code of Conduct agreement contained within the Home Agreement document.

• Failure to abide by the Code of Conduct agreement may constitute removal of a student from the agreed course.

• Where available, recent school reports or test results may be requested to ensure accurate student personalisation in sessions. All information shared will be treated in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

7 Payment and Bookings

• Prior to any tuition session, bookings must be approved and payments received.

• All necessary payment details are outlined on invoice.

• When student confirmation for participation in group sessions provided, this is non-refundable.

• Any missed sessions are charged, but may be repeated at the discrepancy of the tutor.

• An enrolment fee of 150DHS is required upon student registration.

8 Changes to Our Site

• We may update or change Our Site at any time without prior notice

9 Changes to Our Terms and Conditions

• We may revise these Terms at any time. By continuing to use Our Site after updates, you agree to the revised Terms.

• The latest version will always override previous versions unless stated otherwise.

10 Liability

• While TutorsME is committed to assisting student academic growth, we are not able to guarantee specific outcomes. We shall not be held liable for any or failure to achieve anticipated results.

• As an online tutoring service, TutorsME cannot be held accountable for technical interruptions beyond our control that may impact a live tutoring session. In such circumstances, TutorsMe will offer alternative solutions to ensure students receive the session assigned to them.
